Get to KnowDr. Tia Rinzel
Dr. Tia Rinzel was born in India and raised on a farm in a small town in Wisconsin. As a child, she was self-conscious about her smile until braces gave her new confidence and sparked her love for dentistry. After earning her undergraduate degree at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, she volunteered at a free clinic and shadowed over 150 hours at a local dental office. It wasn’t long before she knew this would be her lifelong calling. As an Indian-American dentist, she understands the importance of blending cultural values with compassionate care.
She attended Marquette University School of Dentistry, where she met her husband and future business partner, Dr. Timothy Semon. After years of practicing within corporate dental settings, Dr. Rinzel knew it was time to build something of her own. She’s passionate about preventative and restorative care, patient education, and helping people feel seen, heard, and confident in the dentist’s chair.
In her free time, she loves to play with her dog, Tuxedo, cheer for the Wisconsin Green Bay Packers, and travel. She also loves to be an active member at her church and try new restaurants. If you have any suggestions in Bixby, let her know!

Dr. Timothy Semon is a compassionate, highly trained general dentist with a passion for comprehensive care and long-term outcomes. A native of Rochester, NY, Dr. Semon knew he wanted to pursue dentistry at age 16 after undergoing corrective jaw surgery—a transformative experience that sparked his interest in oral health and patient care.

His treatment philosophy is simple: “If this were my own family member, what would I recommend?” Every treatment plan is designed with long-term health, function, and patient comfort in mind.
Dr. Semon’s advanced training includes:
- Invisalign® Certification
- Minimal Conscious Sedation Certification (Dr. Jason Goodchild)

After years of working with DSOs, Dr. Semon and his wife decided to open a private practice in Tulsa—not only to create something meaningful for themselves, but to build a supportive environment for their team and their patients. Dr. Semon is proud to represent African-American dentists in Tulsa and is passionate about ensuring that everyone has access to exceptional care.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Semon is the proud son of two educators. His father is from the Ivory Coast and his mother is African-American—backgrounds that shaped his strong sense of purpose and connection to his community. He’s also a big LeBron James fan and a believer in doing the right thing—on and off the court.
